Yes, there is a different between HIV/AIDS. HIV stands for the Human Immunodeficiency Virus and AIDS stands for the Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome. HIV is the initial virus, which attacks one’s T-cells. T-cells are responsible for maintaining ones immunity therefore, when enough T-cells are killed ones immunity is severely compromised. Once enough T-cells die, HIV then develops into AIDS.
