Genital Herpes is an STI which may have few or no visible symptoms, even while one has the virus. The first outbreak of the disease results in flu-like symptoms (including headaches and colds), and symptoms from other outbreaks may include painful sores on the penis, clear blisters with red bases, itching, and painful urination.
If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, go and see your doctor, who can test you for the infection in a number of ways. So far, there is no cure for genital herpes, but there are medicines that can tame the symptoms and reduce the chance of you spreading it. If you have it, you should also be aware that the symptoms get better as time progresses.
